A peaceful protest on a Sunday afternoon staged by native Chileans in solidarity with the ongoing demonstrations in the country of Chile. Thousands of people in Chile have taken to the streets to protest against the government. Because of the very low wages of most of the country’s citizens,Chileans responded to raises in the Santiago Metro’s subway fare, increasing the cost of living, and prevalent inequality in the country.
Chilean President Sebastian Pinera faced new protests demanding for his resignation after he replaced eight cabinet members .
The young woman pictured below was visiting Asheville from Charlotte, North Carolina. She lamented that as a nudist, she could not freely walk around topless in Charlotte without being sexually harassed, hence the trip to liberal Asheville. Still, as a precaution, she was accompanied by her male friend (not pictured).
