Downtown Asheville, North Carolina.
I was running a bit late to greet the start of the 2016 Asheville Mardi Gras parade held on Sunday, February 7 in downtown Asheville. This year’s parade theme was “Saints and Sinners”. I brought along both my film and digital cameras to capture the festivities, but as I was just catching the end of the parade, I captured most of it on film (and black and white on top of that!). Towards the end of the street event, I did take out the digital camera to record a few moments so that I had something to post on my website until I get around to developing my film. The image below (featuring Krewe De La Morte) was caught just as the parade was winding down on Wall Street.

Nice Spirited Away No-Face (Kaonashi) Masks on the two holding the banner. I forgot all about the parade. Hate I missed it.
